Testing Push Notifications

Prerequisite

• Finished Getting Started guide for Android, iOS or Unity.
• Finished setting up push notifications for Android, iOS or Unity.

Check Push Notifications Setup

To check if push notifications setup was correct:

1. Login to GetSocial Dashboard.
2. Go to Notifications section → Settings tab → Test Push Notifications setup
3. Select the test device that you want to sent notification to. To add a new test device go to Account settings → Test devices → and press New test device button.

4. Optionally add title, image or video to the test notification:

   

5. Press Test push notifications setup button. Push notification with predefined text will be immediately delivered to the selected test device.
